10.0 ""Everything was just as perfect as it was last year"!"

  • +This is our second visit to Chy Bian having visited last year. Everything was just as perfect as it was last year and no back injury this year so we made up for it this time with places we visited. Even though Belinda and Colin were on holiday for some of our visit, they still made sure everything in place for us!
The weather could not have been more mixed with nice sunshine one minute and then monsoon-esqve rain the next but this did not deter us! We had some great days out and found some really great places to eat! We visitedFowey and it's brilliant little aquarium (tip: park up the top of the hill, there is a £2 minibus back to the top!) and had a great lunch next to it. We loved Restormel Castle, a day on Perranporth beach sandcastle building. The National Maritime Museum at Falmouth was excellent (plenty to do for the little ones too!). We drove the two hours to Paignton Zoo (our daughter loves animals) on what was meant to be a rainy day and we also enjoyed Trelissick House and Gardens.
    Food tips:
Sam's on the beach at Polkerris for amazing seafood
Unbelievable pizza at The Pizza Cabina, Threemilestone, Truro
Amazing fish and chips at Porthtowan
Gear Farm pasties at a farm in Helston
The street food at the Wing Shed, Truro was out of this world
    See you again

10.0 ""The house was everything we could've wished for, very well equipped and spotlessly clean!""

  • +We had a wonderful stay at Chy Bian."The house was everything we could've wished for, very well equipped and spotlessly clean!" The hot tub was a perfect addition- especially after a day exploring all the different areas of Cornwall. We would recommend dinner at Carn Brea castle: gorgeous food in a unique environment. Well worth the interesting drive up!!
Belinda has been the perfect host, always making sure that we have everything we need and giving us recommendations.
    Thank you!

10.0 ""Being in a central location the property is ideally situated""

  • +Our return visit to Chy Bian, Col and Belinda welcomed us with open arms which was lovely.
Being in a central location the property is ideally situated for days on the beach or to visit other ares of Cornwall.
The accommodation is home from home with everything you could possibly need.
We only had one rainy day out of our 2 weeks here so had plenty of time to get out and about, returning to the hot tub and game of air hockey in the games room which was a laugh!
Wouldn't hesitate to book again but for the next two years we have some big Anniversaries coming up but we will return some other time.
Thanks very much Belinda and Col, we've had another wonderful time.
    Much love
    Mel and Barnie xx

10.0 ""It's by far the best holiday accommodation we have found in Cornwall""

  • +This was our second vivit to Chy Bian and we will be booking again for next year.
It's by far the best holiday accommodation we have found in Cornwall.
Belinda and Colin are such warm and welcoming hosts and very helpful when needing ideas to visit.
We love visiting the many beautiful gardens but Trebah is our favourite.
A trip to St. Ives is a must. Use the Park and Ride at St Erth train station and take in the beautiful view over Carbis Bay. Can highly recommend the fish and chips at the Harbour Restaurant,Wharf Road, by the Lifeboat station. They also do takeaway.
Thank you so much for the much appreciated welcome gifts, including the bottle of wine to celabrate our wedding anniversary.
    See you next year
    Love kay and Andy {Worcestershire}
